After graduating from university I worked as Schuman Trainee at the European Parliament for DG SAFE. I focused on multimedia design, strategy, and communications outreach for various projects. By the end of my traineeship, I launched a security awareness campaign where I managed the scripts, storyboards, and completed the video-editing/animation. The final products are also used internally by the European Commission and European Council.

As trainee at the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL), I focused on EU sustainability advocacy in Brussels. As the designated strategic communications professional at the EU office, I worked closely with policy experts on creating social media campaigns and graphic design for advocacy, publications and events.

My work also consisted of drafting communication plans, press releases, public statements, newsletters, and co-ordination with partner organisations to align our shared messaging through communication packs and Trello boards. I also delivered presentations internally on our social media analytics and demographics, and presented ways to improve our overall strategy.

I also worked on organising events (agendas, invitations, attendance lists, venues, catering) for the Corporate Leaders Group; attended by EU policymakers, ministers and business leaders.
