But which renewables are most prominent, and how does Europe compare to the rest of the world?

Using data from Our World in Data, I created four charts to give a glimpse of the energy transition in Europe.

Of course, these charts only provide a snapshot, but the message is clear: Europe is embracing the energy transition.

The question that remains: is this progress enough? With rising uncertainties, can we continue to meet future energy needs and significantly reduce emissions?
